Saddle Up Privacy Statement

Introduction

The following Privacy Statement has been established to outline the processes and procedures involved with customer information. This Privacy Statement covers all personal information collected by Saddle Up and its related parties via all channels (website, phone, fax, face to face). Unless a customer provides us with explicit consent to act otherwise, the following policy will govern how we handle customer personal information and safeguard their privacy.

Website Visitors 

Saddle Up is committed to protecting the privacy of those who visit our website. As part of our normal operations, we collect different kinds information about our website visitors; however, we have structured our websites so that people can visit Saddle Up  on the web without identifying themselves or revealing any personal information. There are some things visitors can do while visiting our websites if they prefer not to be tracked in any way. They can:

• Choose not to submit information via web forms located within our websites
• Choose not to purchase within our online store
• Choose not to opt-in to certain programs that are available on our websites

Types of Visits to Our Websites and Information We Collect for Each

Visitors of Saddle Up and its related parties visit for different reasons. For the purpose of this privacy policy, we will classify these reasons (or activities) as browsing, submitting forms, purchasing and completing surveys. For each different type of activity, Saddle Up  collects and stores different kinds of data for different reasons. They are:

Browsing- For visitors who are simply browsing or navigating through our websites, we collect information about their computer and the pages they visit on our website in aggregate (not individual or personal information). This data is often referred to as click stream or navigation data. We use this information for research, analysis and reporting so that we can improve our navigation, page structure and page content to help visitors find information more quickly and provide more value when they find what they are looking for on our websites.

Submitting Forms- Certain pages of Saddle Up's websites contain forms that allow visitors to request information about our services and solutions or to gain access to valuable resources (like white papers and research documents) in exchange for contact information. In completing one of these forms, visitors may be required to provide contact information, such as their name, phone number and email address. Saddle Up  may use the contact information from these forms to respond to the request, send the information requested or market to those individuals in accordance with the opt-in notice given on the form. We do not disclose any information we receive from these forms to third parties with the exception of business partners we use for the delivery of online and offline marketing messages. These business partners are contractually obligated not to share or use this information except for the purpose of delivering our marketing messages. Furthermore, these partners have their own privacy policies. Visitors of our websites should become familiar with the privacy policies of our partners before submitting any information to Saddle Up that may be shared with them. Saddle Up  is not responsible or liable for the privacy policies of our partners.

Purchasing - For purchasing in our online store or registering for events, we require visitors to create an account with us. We collect information in this account that enables us to complete their order/registration and streamline their purchasing process the next time they order from us. Furthermore, we give them the ability to view and update this information if they so choose.

Completing Surveys - For surveys, we collect visitor responses to help us improve various aspects of our business based on aggregate and individual feedback provided. These surveys are sent via opt-in marketing programs or are made available on our websites for visitors to participate if they so choose.

 

Usage of Cookies and Spotlight Images or Web Beacons

Saddle Up   sometimes uses session cookies to limit pop-up windows to a single browser instance. We also use Java Scripting in cooperation with cookies and "spotlight images" or "web beacons" to track website traffic and email response. A "spotlight image" or "web beacon" is an electronic image, called a 1-by-1 pixel or clear GIF, that can recognise certain types of information on a visitor's computer, such as a visitor's cookie number, time and date of a page view and so on. These methods do not collect any personal information, but simply aggregate information that allows us to research patterns of behaviour on our site and learn how to better meet our visitors' needs. Our online store uses cookies to store order information and all data is submitted using SSL3 (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to provide visitors with the utmost in protection for their private information. They may refuse cookies by turning off that feature on their web browser, but we do not recommend doing so.

Opt-Out Policy for Email Publications

If visitors have opted in to receive any of our email publications, they can opt out of future publications by replying to any email they receive from us with 'Unsubscribe' in the subject line, or by following the "unsubscribe" instructions contained at the bottom of any email that we send to them. Also, in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, we provide our physical mailing address in all email communications for general correspondence and opt-out communications.

Email

Saddle Up has placed email links on this site to allow visitors to contact us directly via email. The information visitors provide is used to respond directly to their questions or comments. Those comments may be stored to improve the quality of our site and our services.

How is your personal information used

Saddle Up  may from time to time use your personal information for the purpose of market research and/or direct marketing in relation to promotional activities of the company. At any time you are able to request not to receive any promotional information or to be deleted from our system. Notification to be removed must be in writing or by email to sales@saddleup.co.nz

Disclosure of Personal Information

The Information that Saddle Up  collects from you will always remain confidential. Saddle Up will not sell, rent, license, or disclose all or part of your information to any non-related party. Related parties include:

Security of your Personal Information

Information received from www.saddleup.co.nz  visitors is sent to a secure location on our internal servers, where it is then stored in a secure database. Saddle Up is committed to providing secure storage for your Personal Information. We will take all reasonable steps to prevent your information from loss, misuse or alterations. Only authorised personnel have access to your private information. All information is stored in a central location within Australia.

Saddle Up engages in online transaction and activities. Although 100% security does not yet exist in the current technological age, we are proud to be using the highest level of technology possible to maximise the security for our online users. 128-bit encryption will minimise unauthorised access to your personal data during the transit between your browser to Saddle Up's system. We will continue to source, update and implement new technology to maximise the security of Saddle Up's information system.

At Saddle Up we aim to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up to date. If you believe that we don't have accurate, complete or up to date information about you, please contact us and we will use all reasonable steps to correct the information.

Access to Personal Information

You can request access to your personal information. A written request letter either electronically or paper is needed for us to process your application, we will endeavour to respond to your request within 30 days. We may contact you to confirm details about yourself before giving you a copy of your personal information. If we are satisfied about your identity we will release the information.
