Visitors of Saddle Up and its related parties visit for different reasons. Browsing- For visitors who are simply browsing or navigating through our websites, we collect information about their computer and the pages they visit on our website in aggregate (not individual or personal information). This data is often referred to as click stream or navigation data. We use this information for research, analysis and reporting so that we can improve our navigation, page structure and page content to help visitors find information more quickly and provide more value when they find what they are looking for on our websites.
Submitting Forms- Certain pages of Saddle Up's websites contain forms that allow visitors to request information about our services and solutions or to gain access to valuable resources (like white papers and research documents) in exchange for contact information. In completing one of these forms, visitors may be required to provide contact information, such as their name, phone number and email address. Saddle Up may use the contact information from these forms to respond to the request, send the information requested or market to those individuals in accordance with the opt-in notice given on the form. We do not disclose any information we receive from these forms to third parties with the exception of business partners we use for the delivery of online and offline marketing messages. Purchasing - For purchasing in our online store or registering for events, we require visitors to create an account with us. We collect information in this account that enables us to complete their order/registration and streamline their purchasing process the next time they order from us. Furthermore, we give them the ability to view and update this information if they so choose.
Completing Surveys - For surveys, we collect visitor responses to help us improve various aspects of our business based on aggregate and individual feedback provided. These surveys are sent via opt-in marketing programs or are made available on our websites for visitors to participate if they so choose.
Usage of Cookies and Spotlight Images or Web Beacons
Saddle Up sometimes uses session cookies to limit pop-up windows to a single browser instance. We also use Java Scripting in cooperation with cookies and "spotlight images" or "web beacons" to track website traffic and email response. A "spotlight image" or "web beacon" is an electronic image, called a 1-by-1 pixel or clear GIF, that can recognise certain types of information on a visitor's computer, such as a visitor's cookie number, time and date of a page view and so on. These methods do not collect any personal information, but simply aggregate information that allows us to research patterns of behaviour on our site and learn how to better meet our visitors' needs. Our online store uses cookies to store order information and all data is submitted using SSL3 (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to provide visitors with the utmost in protection for their private information. They may refuse cookies by turning off that feature on their web browser, but we do not recommend doing so.
Opt-Out Policy for Email Publications
If visitors have opted in to receive any of our email publications, they can opt out of future publications by replying to any email they receive from us with 'Unsubscribe' in the subject line, or by following the "unsubscribe" instructions contained at the bottom of any email that we send to them. Saddle Up is committed to providing secure storage for your Personal Information. We will take all reasonable steps to prevent your information from loss, misuse or alterations. Saddle Up engages in online transaction and activities. Although 100% security does not yet exist in the current technological age, we are proud to be using the highest level of technology possible to maximise the security for our online users. 128-bit encryption will minimise unauthorised access to your personal data during the transit between your browser to Saddle Up's system. We will continue to source, update and implement new technology to maximise the security of Saddle Up's information system.
